My privilege

So, I am shooting this absolutely darling girl, so easy, fun, beautiful and just alive in front of the camera! We're taking a mother/daughter shot, and the Mom says, "hey, can you do this shot that I have of me and my Mom when I was a girl and we're just looking at each other?" Of course! So, the two of them are just looking at each other, the little girl smiles so sweetly at Mom, and I start getting these goose bumps up my arms realizing the Mom is totally tearing up just looking into her daughter's face. I know what she is feeling inside, and blink my wet eyes quickly, as I think of my own 2 daughters. My camera is just shooting away, and I just keep thinking what a privilege it is to be a part of something that means so much to others. So incredible!!
