This shoot was a pure joy for me! This family has not had an easy year, and I really wanted to capture them enjoying each other as another reminder of the blessings that their family has. But their kids are so beautiful, I ended up focusing on their eyes, and just how cute they are...we did have some fun though... check the flickr... oh, and Mom...your pics are ready to pick up!

I think this image is one of my favorites to date... and this kid... well... check my flickr - I could eat him up!

This image has got to be my second favorite - she takes my breath away!!

"Scripture Pictures"

This is an add-on post from "M's" 13th birthday party.... I brought my scriptures and made them each take a "scripture picture". Of course, Miss M, was a little embarrassed at first that Mom would bring these to the Glamour Photo Shoot, but they all loved how they turned out and so did I - this will definitely be hung in the bedroom!

Family....

This was especially fun, because my hubby's brother's family (can you tell?) and they were just on their way to moving out of state... I love looking at these photos, their children are so cute and precious, and we love them so much... sometimes it's just fun to stare at photos you love...miss you guys...

THE PARTY!! She's finally a teenager!

Well, there is now a teenager in the house!! And what to do but have a "glamour shot" birthday party with 9 of her closest friends! They planned 3 outfits, and 3 locations, and we had so much fun!! Check out the group shots below, some of "M", and then check my Flickr for the other 9 beauties!



We copied a friends tradition of decorating the table with items that represent the Birthday person... here was the funniest item on the table... welcome teenager!

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Announcing.... new "Couples Photo Shoot" - get engaged... again!

My husband and I had the opportunity for a 5 day getaway to San Diego this fall with out kids!! Our 15th anniversary is this week, so we celebrated that as well... so with a tripod, loads of time on our hands and the beautiful surroundings, my hub was nice enough to take fun pictures all weekend... I took this fab dress that I'll never have another use for, and since I was turning 35, thought it would be great to record us and our relationship at 15/35.... I called the project my 50th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves...so that when we've been married for 50 years, we can look back at us at the 15 mark, and be greatful to have a wonderfully recorded journey!

Since that week, we have loved, loved having those done, my friends have loved the idea, and I quickly created a book for Christmas that has the best shots in it and it is such a tribute to our marriage...love it!! (click on link below to view the book)
